Marilida Tsiplakou is a first-to-be-admitted undergraduate student in Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specialising in Quantitative Methods. She is also a Scholar of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, through which she completed her Minor degree in Leadership and Management, at the American College of Greece (DEREE), as well as a post-graduate course on Creative Thinking and Organisational Success at Harvard University. During her studies, she participated in conferences, seminars and economic forums, in countries such as Greece, the United States, Spain, Italy, Belgium and
the UK/ Oxford, covering national, European and international issues. At the same time, she has been involved in various start-up projects and competitions, and has received an Honourable Award by Marianna Vardynogiannis, for her involvement, as a student, in the Youthelp start-up in cooperation with the ELPIDA Association. She currently works as an EU funded Programmes Project Manager at the AKMI Group
of Companies, mainly on the field of innovation, education and sustainability. Finally, she was recently appointed as the SDG Campus Coordinator of the NKUA, of the Network of Sustainable Development Solutions (UN SDSN), under the auspices of the United Nations.
