Maria Argyrou

Maria holds a BA in Economic Sciences from the University of Athens, Greece (graduated Cum Laude and as first of the class) and a Master’s of Public Administration (Development Practice and specialization in Advanced Policy and Economic Analysis) from Columbia University in the City of New York, USA, where she has been awarded two scholarships (Paul Nichoplas Scholarship and Gerondelis Foundation Scholarship). She has worked as a research assistant at the Department of Economics at the University of Athens, as well as at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. She has also worked as a researcher at the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) in Dubai and for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as SIPA Capstone Workshop Consultant. She is a PhD candidate in the department of Economic Sciences at the University of Athens.
